The light comes out through the carved face, so what you see from the sidewalk is a row of small lit pumpkins rather than a row of bulbs. It is the difference between a path that looks decorated and a path that just looks lit.

The face is cut through, not printed on
Each pumpkin is a moulded shell with the face cut into it and the LED sitting inside, so the light pours out through the eyes and mouth. That is what makes it read as a lit pumpkin instead of an orange ball with a bulb behind it.

Down one side of the front walk, along the driveway, or around a bed. The wire gives you slack between each light to follow the shape.

Whatever the pack says. Twelve Lights is one wired run of twelve pumpkins on a single solar panel. Twenty-four and thirty-six are simply more of the same — two runs and three runs, each with its own panel.

A good day of sun will usually run them through the evening and well into the night. Charge is the thing that varies — deep shade, or a run of grey days, gives you a shorter night.
